Paula J. Freedman has spent most of her career in digital media, producing multimedia websites for advertising agency clients, publishers, and television networks. She has a Master of Science degree in Publishing from [Hidden in protest], and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the State University of New York at Buffalo. She was at Scholastic.com for nine years before she took off to write fiction and now freelances occasionally to support her writing habit. Her most recent client was A&E Television Networks’s digital media group (History.com and Biography.com website redesigns/rearchitecture). Paula worked with the late Deborah Brodie, both as a patient to Deborah’s book doctor and as a member of her elite writer’s workshop.

In addition to writing fiction, Paula enjoys reading, traveling, knitting, and referring to herself in the third person. She lives with a husband and two parrots in New York City.
